Introduction: I have been a professional photographer for over 20 years. For the past thirteen years, I have been working as a photojournalist, primarily in Africa but also the Middle East and Latin America.
I have developed photo essays and stories on a wide range of topicsfrom eradicable diseases in Nigeria for The New York Times to HIV/AIDS for the World Food Program to child brides in Niger for Essence Magazine. My work has been published in top-tier media outlets in the US and Europe and in publications of major international NGOs.
In 2010, I had a son and that all changed. I have returned to Northern VA where I grew up and have begun using my photojournalistic skills to document weddings. It is a privilege and an honor to document one of the most important days in a persons lifetheir wedding day.
