My experience with Mr. Rackley began cordially. He was contracted to replace an existing roof for typical 3 bedroom single family rancher on 9/3/14. Per the contract and verbal commitment, he was to provide seamless linear feet of gutters with down spouts as well. The work began about 2 weeks later after weather and equipment delays. The replacement roof was installed. It appears to hold up against the elements as of now. I do not see any water marks in the interior of home. I had to ask multiple times for the extra shingles as he promised for future repairs, if needed. I am still waiting for the install of the seamless gutters. It is now October and the gutters have not been provided after many documented and verbal conversations. When the gutters were installed, a hole was found in the vinyl siding that was not there previously. The workmen stated there were not any problems when questioned. Mr. Rackley was immediately notified of this occurrence. He came over and inspected the area agreeing to repair the hole without cost to me. The repair did not occur until the end of November 2014 after many emails and calls. Now the gutters had been installed with the seam in the front of the house and it leaks! Again, Mr. Rackley was notified and he stated he was going to take care of the repair. I have not heard from Mr. Rackley since December 7, 2014. I would not refer this company due to neglect and poor quality of work. I have pictures and documentation stating the promises that were made to repair the gutters and any other defects. I am considering alternative measures to ensure the work is completed as per the contract states. Payment of course, was provided as required on my end. I have been MORE than patient with this matter and seek the products that were promised. I did not have a problem with the gutters before Mr. Rackley replaced them. They were just old.

What Cynthia omitted from her review is as follows : 1- Her gutters were seamed and dented with damaged downspouts that were streaming water against what appeared to be a satellite dish.I recommended that the gutter system be replaced. I offered to replace the gutters for free to help her because the roof,sidng,and exterior of her house all needed remodeling. 2- Cynthia's roof was in real bad shape. It was a three tab roof at the end of it's life cycle with damaged decking causing leaks inside.I removed all damaged decking and replaced it at no additional charge . I also upgraded the replacement shingles to high density Architectural Dimensional Shingles with a lifetime warranty for no additional charge . I gave her two bundles of shingles in the event that the roof is damaged in the future and the shingles have to be replaced.Her replacement shingles will match 3- The hole in the siding was disputed by the workers. I sided with Cynthia and told her that I would get them to repair it. She did not want them to do the repair. Unfortunately, I have to give them an opportunity to cure the problem before I can assign any one else. The siding was old and I spent weeks trying to match it. Eventually,I was asked to patch and paint it. When the weather and schedule allowed it was completed to her satisfaction. In summary this client received excellent work product with free upgrades with over $1500. in value.There was absolutely excellent workmanship. When this review was posted the seamless gutters were already ordered and completed on January 6,2014. Cynthia had been very patient but her limit came before my request for her to understand that her project had exceeded her budget because of the extra work that I took out of my profit for her benefit. Despite all of this I did what I promised . An upgraded roof,a seamless gutter,and a repaired peace of siding. I am at peace hope to continue to serve. Regards

The "paint crew" came in and were professional and efficient. They wanted to make sure wall surfaces were adequately prepped prior to painting and gave extra attention to a wall that had been covered with mirrors over 30 years. Work was completed in a timely manner and service was exceptional!

Will Rackley put together a fantastic team of contractors who completed our totally renovated kitchen in a very timely manner. All workers were respectful, on time, and excellent at what they did. Couldn't be happier with All American Construction and our finished product . We now have a beautiful kitchen!!!!

Yes, especially with lead and mold remediation. I subscribe to various construction related sites online to receive daily and weekly developments and alerts.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
While in graduate school I decided that i could serve my community and neighbors by taking the knowledge that I acquired and applying it to trying to improve housing and building new houses to enhance the standard of living of the central Virginia SMSA.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I like to rehab and remodel their home to enhance comfort and longevity. Perform work to increase the value of their home. Modify the home to meet ADA requirements. Design/Build new homes , Additions , and Tenant up fits for light commercial buildings and apartments.
