Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. I'm really a jack of all trades. I mainly do plumbing, painting and carpentry but have lots of experience in other aspects of entire home renovations. 90% of customers hire me to do one paticular job and I end up doing all the renovations to the whole house.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Check one of the latest references, ask what he/she would do if it was there home or business and do they guarentee all the labor.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. My work stands out from others because I treat youre home like my own. I adhere to codes, regulations and quality. I always do a walk through with customer before I recieve the final payment.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I love what I do! I have been building, repairing, updating homes since I was a kid in the summers with family. I enjoy being honest and knowledgeable at all I do and if I cant do a professional job, I will tell you up front. I really enjoy meeting my new customers and being able to share my ideas to better there home/business.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. I got into my line of work because of my grandfather and father as a kid. I do all my own repairs the right way the first time so as not to have to fix again in the near future. I learned to pay attention to detail and that a happy customer is a customer for life.

Q. Describe your most recent project, what it involved, how much it cost, and how long it took.

A. My most recent project was downtown Richmond, VA. I did carpentry repairs(added 2x4 wall and sheetrock), new plumbing, painted 2 coats on ceiling, walls and trim. Also hung new light fixtures, hung doors and replaced glass in windows. It was a 3 apartment complex(row house) off the boulevard and Cary street. It took me 160 hours at $4400.00 in labor. Customer provided materials. Customer is now a reference and very happy with results.
