- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ensure that you can verify credentials, see ample work samples and get references or testimonials in this arena to ensure that the artist's level of professionalism, skills set and personality will be pleasing to you. Makeup application is a very personal service and you not only want someone who is great at what they do but you also want someone who you will enjoy having in your personal space and who is a great listener to be able to create the look that "you" want for your event or project.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
As the owner and key makeup artist for Epiphany Beauty Professional Makeup Services and Studio, I am a Certified Makeup Artist based on training certificates received from Virginia Makeup Studio, Bennett Career Institute and Danessa Myricks. Additionally, I have a Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising & Marketing and I am also a certified human resource professional having earned a Master's degree in Human Resource Administration.
