We do diversified photography services of: on-site engagement, pre-wedding formals and weddings in the New River Valley (including Dublin & Radford), Roanoke, Henry County areas. Travel cost will be included in cost of wedding.
Photographs by Kathy offers Specials and Discounts every month on a variety of services. Call Photographs by Kathy to find out what the special is. Someimes there is a discount on engagement or bridal portraits.
We also offer Free Photo Enhancement of all photos, Free 8 x 10 with frame and Free CD with printable photographs. Average total of photos taken at a medium to large wedding is 400-600. An average of 200 photos to be inserted in your favorite wedding album. More services available in the wedding package, which is personalized to meet your needs. For example, the package may consist of (10) 8 x 10 and (5) 5 x 7. OR (6) 8 x 10, (6) 5 x 7, (40) 4 x 6, (40) wallets.
On-site 5 x 7 printing of one of your formals will be available for purchase from your guests. Your wedding budget is considered, as well as a payment plan optional.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. I always work 110% at doing the best job possible for a couple providing them with the photos requested, photos that would tell their story and to do things better or different than other photographers to make their day even more special. For instance, showing photos from their bridal portraits or wedding formals at the reception for the guests with bride and groom.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I really enjoy blessing a couple with beautiful photos and yet affordable, as I hate to contribute to a couple's financial stress just being married. Seeing a couple smile after seeing their wedding photos, makes me feel proud that I have provided them something beautiful that they can share with their parents, future children and friends.
Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?
A. It has taken me years to gain the knowledge and experience to be the best photographer possible, and I am always learning by readin photography books, Internet research on topics and talking with other photographers about their experiences and tips. Know your competition and try to do it better and different to offer something special. Purchase equipment that will be dependable and comparable to other photographers so to keep up-to-date with technology.
