Introduction: My name is Blake Prim and I am a wedding photographer. I've been photographing weddings since 2010. I am so grateful to have been given the opportunity to be a part of so many happily ever afters. With each new wedding, I enjoy knowing that I will be providing my clients with images that are vibrant and memorable. Weddings are about family and the special bond between two people that have found qualities in each other that they just can't live without. There aren't many instances in time when you will have so many loved ones in one place in a celebration of life and love. What a wonderful thing to have. Highly recommended! Working with Blake was one of the best wedding vendor experiences I had. He was professional but understanding of our needs - we wanted as many candid photos and as few posed photos as possible. When the occasion did arise for a posed photo, he was ready and willing to snap the shots. His wife was also a lot of fun to talk to in the pre-ceremony moments with my bridesmaids. They were both a perfect fit for our more "laid back" style. As a note, our wedding was in Greensboro. It was much more affordable to pay the travel fee for Blake and his wife to drive down from Virginia than hire someone here. Financially speaking aside, he was also much more in sync with our needs and wants than local vendors I contacted.

My husband and I had a great experience working with Blake! He is well priced and takes excellent pictures! He did our engagement and wedding pictures as well as my bridal portraits and we loved all of them! He is very creative and has great ideas! Highly recommended!

Blake had a great attitude and professional demeanor, and several people at the wedding even remarked how pleasant he was. He really is exceptional, very fairly priced especially given the AHHMMAAZZINNGG quality of his work, and is a true artist that you will be lucky to have if you can get him!

Typically after connecting over the phone or through email, I like to meet in person to discuss wedding plans, show off some of my examples of my work, and get to know you.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in Pre K - 12th grade Art Education and have lots of experience in a variety of artistic mediums. I have taught elementary students art for 10 years. I am a member of the Virginia Professional Photographers of America as well as the group Exposure Roanoke.
