Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
A. My main work is for clients whom are trying to repair or update their homes. Usually this involves fixing walls by dry walling and painting; removing and installing a new type of flooring whether it be carpet , tile, wood, or vinyl; installing new fixtures; installing sinks, cabinets and faucets for bathrooms; repairing, painting or installing new interior doors or entry doors; installing new shower surrounds or tiling shower surrounds; repairing and re-stretching carpet; installing and painting trim and moulding; removing and re-installing toilets; and installing small electrical fixtures or appliances.
Q. Describe three recent jobs you've completed.
A. Job 1: Client needed house prepared for selling. I replaced wood around porch and painted, repaired drywall with texture and paint, hung window blinds, repaired door, refastened hardwood floor transition pieces, re-keyed locks, cut shelving and closet rods and installed and reviewed typical home inspection list to make sure everything was completed.
Job 2: Installed drywall, finished and painted in a basement due to water damage. Installed new trim with capping and painted. Installed new trim with stain to match and removed tack strip for ceramic installation(I will be installing at a later date), scraped rubber back pad of concrete floor for laminate installation (I will be installing at a later date).
Job 3: Cleaned clients gutters and made sure of proper drainage.
