Global Moving Systems is a professional moving company that provides moving services for both residential and commercial customers with relocation needs of all magnitudes. No matter how big or small the move, we want to be a part of it.
Global has designed a range of services to take the stress away from the entire moving process. We offer the following services:
- Packing and preparation services. This includes customized packing and crating depending on how delicate the items are.
- Packing supplies. This includes special packing boxes of different sizes and other packing materials.
- Moving services. A wide range of services for local or cross country moves, including relocation services for corporate groups.
- Short and long-term storage. We provide self-storage and storage-in-transit for our Washington DC, Virginia and Maryland customers in need of these services during a local or a long distance move. We can keep your belongings safe and secure for as long as you need.

I just couldn't ask my friends to help me move again, so sucked it up and hired movers. I am so glad that I did!! They showed up at my storage unit and were incredibly nice to me and to my stuff! They had everything loaded quickly and, in spite of two flights of stairs, unloaded equally as fast. Everything made it in good shape. It was incredibly low stress and I really appreciated how nice and professional the guys were. I would definitely use Global Moving Systems again and recommend them to friends.

Global Moving Systems helped me with my recent move from Washington, DC to Virginia Beach, VA Their service was really outstanding and they have a very expert group of diligent crew. The whole job of moving was carried out effectively and professionally and no complain whatsoever. I found everything in good shape after unloading. They even helped me in putting the items at their exact places. I think they are a quality service provider in moving business and I can recommend them without any doubt.

Superb job by Global Moving Systems; they finished the whole move within half the time I'd planned for. They took excellent care of all precious items, and were extremely courteous and hard-working. These guys are legitimately the best moving company I've ever hired. The only nit (if we're nit-picking) they showed up 15 minutes early. OK, that's pretty cool actually, because it shows how responsible they are. You can hire these guys without any hesitation and will be absolutely satisfied. They're worth more than their competitors, but seem to charge the same rates.

We found Global Moving Systems through online searches and were impressed by previous reviews. From the beginning they were prompt with all communications; they made a quick visit to estimate the size of the move and having had quotes from other companies Global Moving Systems gave us the most competitive price. We had a very tight schedule and were stressed leading up to moving day. The foreman and his troop were fantastic, arrived right on time, straightway set to work and didn't stop until everything was loaded into the truck. We were impressed with the efficient way all our possessions were wrapped and loaded. Great service at a great price and we would gladly recommend them.

Shifting to Washington, DC from Virginia Beach, VA was never easy for me because I grew up there but because of the job I had to relocate to DC. However it was always on the cards. But just before the move I was concerned about my stuffs because last thing I wanted to see some broken, damaged and missing stuffs. I never wanted to have a messy move and thank God that nothing went wrong. I have to give credit to these movers for a brilliant job. They were very accurate, efficient, affordable and punctual. They delivered a p picture perfect move. I would like to thank the movers and special thanks to their sales person for everything that they have done for me.
