"My son (7 years old at the time) attended art classes provided by Lisa. She did a wonderful job working with my son who is an odd combination of being a very intelligent boy, but also one who has sensory integration dysfunction (which affects his behavior). Lisa's instruction not only provided a basis for new skills in various forms of art, but also helped him mature and develop teamwork and interpersonal skills." -Kevin Peterson

Question and answer

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. My teaching is Art and way beyond Art. The learning environment is a special place where all factors benefit the student. Teacher has a unique teaching style that never assumes what the student already does or doesn't know or which part of what they learn will most benefit them.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. The classroom is such a flexible arena where student and conversation can lead the course of a particular class. It should always be beneficial to all who are there to learn and create.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. I am often asked about age/grade and ability level. I can have students of many ages and abilities together at once because the develop[ment of various art skills does not always happen in such a unform way and is not reliant on a chronological age or grade level. Abilities develop for each student as they individually reach them.
