A pool table, particularly a 3 cm thick; 3 piece slate pool table that has not been moved in years, is not for normal movers. It’s is important to hire someone to actually do the job, and know what they are doing. 3 people and 3 hours later, our pool table was disassembled, reassembled, and refelted. It was worth every penny to hire professionals to do this. They hustled the entire time. There are materials that are specialized for this kind of move. They cleaned up and kept all of the mess under control. You have no idea the level of work that is involved. It involves blowtorches. The only thing I would say is that maybe ask for the felt color ahead of time. But other than that- no regrets!!!

If you have a pool table and need professional help I highly recommend hiring Pool Table Service DMV!! I recently bought a pool table from a neighbor and needed help assembling it. First, they arrived early and assembled the table in a little over an hour! They were also very polite and completely professional and explained what they were doing. They even explained at the end why they did something a certain way and provided recommendations for care as well.
