This one-person business claims to give you the lowest price possible. Based on my comparisons, this is indeed the case. However, except for the price, nothing else is good. For example, although we setup an appointment for hardwood floor installation, he cancelled multiple times because he was not done yet with his other jobs. This happened not once, but twice! When confronting him, he became rude and threw his tools around at the day of installation. The quality of the work is also terrible at some spots. Molding at corner are not appropriate cut, despite floor not being perfectly level, he goes ahead and put in the floor (saying that that is outside the scope of his work. He only lays floor where you tell him).
The first thing Moore will probably ask you when meet with him the first time for an evaluation is whether you have read his online reviews, which are "very good"! Then he starts to explain about a college girl - who is the one who gave him the only bad rating etc... I suspect that he might have written the good reviews himself. Because based on my experience, it cannot be worse!

Overall I am satisfied with the outcome of the flooring, however the customer experience portion left me with a bad taste in my mouth. I was getting bamboo flooring installed and had several questions about things suggested by the manufacturer and that I had read online (i.e. acclimation time.)
I found Mr. Moore to be very condescending and rude. Everytime I asked a question about the flooring and the things I had read, he rolled his eyes, talked down to me, and made me very uncomfortable. He seemed to be very irritated throughout the job. I have no complaints about the workmanship, but people skills and customer appreciation could use improvement.

I could not disagree with Gordon C more. Luke is professional, punctual and not only are his prices unbeatable the quality of work is as well. We would hire him again in a heartbeat .
