Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Choose memories over money. If you hire a photographer, then remember you are the employer. Also look at their work. See if their eye matches your preferences.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. Photo Editing can make or break a photo and take away from the creativity. If a photographer captures your image then they should be allowed to present you with their art. Photographers are individual artist.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. If I miss a scheduled appointment, can I reschedule, and what is the fee for rescheduling? Photographers schedule all of their time. Most photographers like us are easy to work with but sometimes scheduling can be hard given the calendar timeframes.
Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?
A. With any photographer please know that booking a schedule is very important. Photographers may be able to break an appointment and schedule someone else for that time slot. Most will charge a re-scheduling fee.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. Our work is like any photographers and each has their own unique pattern in their photos. Our work appeals to some and may not to others. That to us is okay because we admire all photographers.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I love meeting people and always up to new challenges. The one area we try not to get into is Wedding and Engagement. Although profitable, can be very stressful at times.
Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.
A. We have friends that work in Hollywood. One is an actress and the other a singer. It was a true honor to have a photoshoot with them at Rudee Point. My wife and I were very proud of our work.
Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?
A. We are constantly learning every day with some great tools. There is always something new to try and that is what makes it fun.
Q. If you have a complicated pricing system for your service, please give all the details here.
A. Our pricing system is not complicated. We charge by the project and work within the clients budget. We do have set pricing and work within that pricing to gain the customers friendship and trust.
Q. What are you currently working on improving?
A. We work at improving every day. This is a field that is everchanging and evolving. The day of big photography companies is giving way to the actual photographer. We work at being the best we can be.
