Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Fondant is a must for some cake flavors or designs, but most customers love the appearance but not the taste of fondant. We feel the same and therefore make our own fondant which has a superior taste that actually enhances the appearance and taste of the customers cake.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. As a small family owned business we are more aggressive to meet the customer need within the customer budget. We do not charge for tasting/design sessions. We prefer to deliver our finished cakes to guarantee their arrival in good time and shape, so delivery is usually free.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. We love working together as a family to design beautiful cakes that taste great for all kinds of occasions.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. Can we have more than one flavor for the tiers of our wedding or custom cake? Yes, we will often provide a cake with different flavor for each tier. Our standard flavors are vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, lemon, coconut and almond...all available at no additional charge.

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. It has happened many times that a couple has come in for a tasting/design session and after tasting our different standard flavors and arriving at a design, the hardest decision they have is deciding which flavors to leave out!
