- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Not as of yet. I'm trying to find workshops in the area to join, though. I'd love to work with a few photographers in the area!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've always loved art and photography, but couldn't afford a DSLR. I would buy disposable film cameras and take pictures of everything and everyone, trying to be creative as possible with angles and lighting. When I could afford one, I knew that photography was ultimately what I wanted to do with my life.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
My most common jobs are weddings, and child portraiture. I love both...I absolutely love capturing weddings, from the dress to the details. The raw emotions are amazing. I also love photographing children, because their innocence makes for wonderful images. Watching them chase butterflies, give their siblings hugs, or even cry...there is beauty in everything that they do. They make for my best candid shots, and my clients usually fall in love with my perspective of their child :)
