Brian did a great job assembling my TV stand. He was professional, affordable, on time, wore shoe coverings so that he would not track any dirt on the carpet and disposed of all packaging. I would definitely hire him again!

Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Always get three estimates on any service you need.
And remember, the cheapest bid isn't always the best bet.
One more thing to remember its a contractor should never ask for half down, A fair down payment on any project should never be more than the cost of matetials, plus a 1/3 of the total due upon the completion of the project.
Remember you're the boss!. It's your home, and if you take care of it, it will take care of you.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. Does a Handyman need a contractors license in the state of Virginia?

In the state of (Virginia) a contractor’s license for handyman work is not necessarily required since generally the jobs are less than$1000

Some construction contractors must be licensed in Virginia. Trade licenses are required for electrical, plumbing, HVAC, gas fitting, asbestos abatement and lead abatement work.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I love the problem solving of each and every job and knowing that every job I do, is done to the best of my abilities. It's a good feeling knowing the homeowner feels secure with the work that has been done. Meeting new people and forming long term business relationships is one of the biggest reasons it's so easy getting out of bed each morning.

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. One of the things I wish customers knew about the home repair business, is that there are tradesmen that wake up everyday and love what they do. Working on homes along with the satisfation that a repair man/woman get from completing a repair or improvment and seeing the satisfation that the homeowner gets once their projects or problems has been completed or solved. I, as a repairmen, take great pride in completing tasks, it is that feeling of accomplishment that makes this profession fun and exciting everyday. Repairmen like me are proud to do what I do everyday, Problem solving and forming long term relationship with or Homeowners and their greatest investment, their homes.

Q. What is your greatest strength?

A. Well, this is a simple one to answer,,,, I love what I do!
Loving what I do translates directly to the quality of my work and the relationship I have with each homeowner. Looking forward to every new project and working with the homeowner is mt greatest strenght. All of the skills I have aquired in my 20 years in the field, are made stronger by my excitement for what I get to do everyday.
