Introduction: Being in the remodeling Industry for almost 20 years, I have seen it all. Subcontracted work, bloated profit margins, pushy sales tactics ect. I started Milcon Design & Build to break the norms and stigma of the usual Home Improvement Contractor. My goal is to offer Milcon's customers Top Tier products at an affordable price point, A+ installations non-subcontracted with hand picked installers that I have worked with for years and last but not least, a customer service experience, not just a contract fulfilled! Great experience end to end. Special order patio door came in and was installed in the planned timeline, received updates and the installation crew did a great job. It is an older house, so the door had to be retrofitted and the original opening wasn’t quite level. They balanced the door and screen so they run smoothly. Can’t ask for a better experience.

My journey with Milcon Design and Build began in March 2023, when I was looking for estimates to replace my patio door. I selected Milcon Design & Build after receiving two other estimates, because I was impressed with Matt's professionalism, his ability to answer my (many :) ) questions in detail, and his prompt response. In our initial meeting, he was able to provide suggestions based on my requirements and previous installation experiences. He then promptly followed up with the promised estimate. The next meeting was with his technician to verify that they were going to be able to provide the larger size door I requested without causing any structural damage. Once the door arrived, we scheduled an installation date and time (June 2023). The crew was very professional, and did an excellent job! Once they were done, his contractor walked me through the features of the door: the active vs passive side, how to verify that it was closed and looked, etc. Needless to say, I am more than pleased, the door looks great! I will definitely use Milcon Design and Build again!

I am very pleased to have Matt and his team help our home to replace our very old 19 windows and the front door. Matt understands our needs very well and provided us with his professional advice to fit our needs and budget. He is also straight to the point ( not too many marketing talks, which liked very much). The quality of the windows and the front door ( with a custom color we requested to keep) is excellent and totally updates our house inside out. The installation was very efficient and quick. All workers who can to install both windows and the door are very professional and sincere to their work to all details. I would highly recommend his company to anyone considering replacing windows and doors.

We are very pleased with the work Milcon performed to install our basement sliding door. They were very professional, prompt and very responsive to any questions we had. We are highly competitive across all product lines. We offer a wide array of products at different price points to fit everyone's budget. We are a small business so, we keep infrastructure and overhead down so we can get the discounts up.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start by messaging/phone call to see if we are a good fit for a free initial consultation. Sometimes we can provide quotes without meeting, other times we may need to meet for no more than 30 minutes or so to determine needs and then email a competitive quote.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
20 years of experience in roofing, windows/doors and siding. Proficient in the sourcing, selling, managing and installing of all product lines.
