With a background in art, drawing and design, I fell in love with photographing weddings, events and people while serving as photographer for one of the largest community colleges in Virginia.
One day, a co-worker requested that I take photos at his wedding. I had never thought about myself as a wedding photographer, but decided to give it a try, and I absolutely fell in love with it. Things took off from there, and I started my business, Aaron Riddle Photography, shortly after.
I would describe my photographic style as friendly, photojournalism. At weddings, I capture details, spontaneous smiles and people living in the moment. I try my best to blend into the scene and capture events as they naturally unfold.
While I take time to capture traditional posed photographs as well, I believe the most special photographs are taken when I observe and record events as they happen, such as the bride casually kissing the groom when no one is looking, the flower girl gazing at a single flower during the wedding reception or the father of the bride hugging his daughter one last time before she leaves for the honeymoon.
As a client, you are my top priority. My clients will tell you that I will work as hard as anyone out there to capture your wedding and tell the story of the day the best I can. I am easy-going, yet very professional, punctual and accommodating. I care about my clients, and they always come first. I believe in responding to your questions right away, communicating promptly and doing everything I can to meet your needs as a photographer.
Your job is to relax and enjoy your wedding day. My job is to document it for you to relive forever.

My husband and I are so happy with our wedding photos! Aaron captured every detail of the ceremony and reception and the picture quality is excellent. We thank Aaron for being so easy to work with and for taking on the many requests we asked of him throughout the day.
