Ivan said he was going to show up and he did. My first choice could not start until Monday which was a week later. I waited a week later but on Sunday I received a text that he could start the work until Tuesday. I text Ivan and he showed up on Monday with all of the materials and ready to work. He removed damaged posts that were not properly installed . He then installed the new purchased treated wood posts to my deck. I now have the added security of knowing that my deck is structurally safe.

Today was an absolute miracle day! I had accepted a previous proposal to repair my deck on Saturday 6/12/23. On Friday 6/12, I contacted the company who was supposed to come on Saturday and his voice mail was full! He never responded. I immediately went to Thumbtack as I needed the work done tomorrow. The company I called on Thumbtack never called me back. Then, out of the blue, I received a call from Ivan Gomez and Son Carpentry. He said he read my desparate plea on Thumbtack! He could come Saturday @ 7AM and if we agreed on a price he could complete the work the same day! They started @ 8AM and finished @7 PM. His son and another gentleman worked w/him. They were neat and tidy and very organized. When I pointed out some things I would like to change, he did it w/a smile and a "no problem" attitude. We now have all new deck railings, two sets of stairs and three new handrails. We couldn't be happier and I will definitely call him for future projects!! To show our immense gratitude, I baked brownies for Ivan to take home to his four children and made up a big bouquet of lilies from my garden for his wife. Call him for your future projects. He is very customer- oriented and a pleasure to work with!
