Question and answer
Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
A. Clients with chronic pain who have tried every other avenue to stop the pain and have been unsuccessful.
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Honestly. We are unique in the type of service we provide. If you are leaving the are and looking for a Therapeutic Therapist than you can try two organizations: AMTA or ABMP.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. What to expect if this is your first massage. Relax, this is your sessions. Be as honest as possible when filling out your Health Intake and when answering any questions the therapist may have.
If, during the massage, something feels uncomfortable, pressure too hard or soft, music too loud or soft, room too hot or cold, tell the therapist.
If you are not comfortable, this will take away from you having an enjoyable experience.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. The goal of SANCTUS is and has always been, "To help people live healthier lives."
The work that our Master Therapist does changes peoples lives. If you have a chronic, continuous injury or pain, her work can make you feel better.
The work that the other therapist do, complements the work of the Master Therapist.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. We like the idea of helping people live healthier lives. There is no greater joy than to return a person, who has all but given up physical activities, to a point where they are once again, participating in the physical activities that they love.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. How long before I feel better?
And our answer is simple. It did not take over night for your body to get in this position and it will not take over night for it to get better. If you are patient and continue to work with us, you will get to the point that you are trying to reach.
Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?
A. We provide counseling and tutoring to new, young massage therapist. For that reason I would have them come to us and take one of our classes. They could choose from the Life Touch Class or the Clothed Table Massage Class.
These classes give an idea of what id expected of you when you become a massage therapist.
