We offer crewed Caribbean sailing yacht charters in the British Virgin Islands. We try to provide you with the most fun vacation you will ever have on the water.

Most of the people that have sailed with us call it the trip of a lifetime.

For 7 days and 8 nights, sail each day to a new island destination, and meet the real people that make the BVI a special part of paradise, on our fully-crewed sailboat.

Package includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, beer, wine, rum and BVI cruising fees.

Are you a Single sailor or a couple that wants to Share the Adventure? We understand how hard it can be to put a group together. Therefore we are now offering per/person per/cabin rates. Now the cost of cruising is more affordable than ever before.

Sailing on the S/V Ragamuffin was absolutely wonderful! Jo and Loren are wonderful hosts. The islands are gorgeous, and the captains take you to all of the best bars and parties! The food is excellent on board, the accomodations are great. If you love sailing, and love the BVIs, this is a great trip. Plan to party, relax, and sail!!!

Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. The people that have the most fun sailing with us are active, hands on people that love life, people and adventure. If you only want to sit on a lounge chair all day our vacations are probably not for you.
We get up around 7 am have breakfast, leave the harbor by 9 and arrive at our destination in time for lunch, so you can spend the afternoons snorkeling, sunbathing, reading a good book, exploring the islands....

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Crewed Charters are the best way to see the BVI with it's many small islands only accessible via boat. On a crewed charter all your meals are provided the only additional expenses are drinks ashore and Crew gratuities.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. I am in fairly good physical condition will I be allowed to get involved with actually sailing the Yacht?
What type of personality are the crew members?
Will I be able to experience the local lifestyle, spend some time on the beach, go dancing in the evening?
Will I actually meet the local people?
What type of activities are available besides snorkeling and swimming?
Does the yacht provide free wifi?
What type of meals does the yacht provide?
How long has the crew been together?
How long has the company been in business?
Is the boat the full time residence of the crew?
Is there a pet aboard?

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. Just what exactly does a Crew Yacht Charter invlove?
Am I looking for an adventure with lots of snorkeling, beach combing, raising and lowering sails... or would I be happier on a cruise ship with waiters and lounge chairs? Am I in good enough physical condition to get off and on a sailboat from the smaller tender? Do I really like to be with people on a daily basis, I will be sharing the crews home for 7 days. Will I be comfortable having someone else in charge for the week.. the captain of the boat will be in charge of the itinerary, you will be expected to follow basic rules while aboard.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. We have lived in the Virgin Islands on our Yacht since 1998 and have provided crewed charters since 1992.
We have many friends in the islands, as such you as our guests are treated more like friends ashore rather than just another tourist.
We serve family style meals, tailored to the tastes of each group, usually accompanied by fresh homemade breads, fruits, fresh vegetables and salads..
We take you out to dinner 2 or 3 times durning your week long charter at the Yachts expense so you really get to try the local cuisine.
A small cat lives aboard the boat, she is very people friendly.. Captain Squeak.
We treat you more as a special family member than as a paying guest.. think of us a your boat parents for the week.. ready to make sure you have fun, get to do as many things as possible.. but... put your safety first.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. Meeting new people.. having former guests now special friends come sailing again. Introducing the first time sailor to the sound of water sliding along the hull with under sail, the sounds of joy when a dolphin appears along side. Finding out about each individual guest one on one.. providing that special treat from the galley.. sharing our little piece of paradise and having the guests fall in love with it also. Having the new guests leave as new friends..

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. What made you decide to move to the Caribbean and live on a boat?
The weather, warm Sapphire Blues water, Caribbean blue skies, sailing from one beautiful anchorage to another without ever leaving my home, getting to know the local people.
