Jason did fantastic work and was very reliable. He communicates well and is extremely knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Jason for doing replacement windows, and I suspect he is very good at many other things due to the pride he takes in his work. Tom Hoft, Loveland, Ohio

Jason restored the original Pella windows on our mid-century home. His years of experience and knowledge of restoration are evident in his work. It was a big project and Jason and his team work diligently to complete the work in a timely fashion. We were very impressed with his attention to detail and quality of work. Before we contacted Jason, we entertained the idea of replacing our windows. This would have been a costly decision and one that would have compromised the integrity of our home. We are so happy that we made the decision to keep our windows and have them restored by Jason Whipple. They are not only fully functional, they are beautiful.

Jason does great, thorough work. We called him out for some minor patching and we now have him scheduled to do more work in the future. Would definitely recommend.

Jason performed a front porch restoration on my National Historic Registered home. His price to rebuild my porch was very reasonable. He provided progress with weekly emails and photographs showing work accomplished on-site and at his workshop. He searched the East Coast and Midwest for a particular type of historic period wood flooring which would withstand the harsh winters and humid summers of Ohio while providing long term durability. It should also be noted that he used the finest materials available for wood restoration. Jason drove beyond his typical 40 mile radius to complete the work. My wife and I hope that Jason is available over the winter to accomplish some interior restoration much needed in our home.

I have a historic house and when Jason showed up, I felt so confident because he was very knowledgable about old houses. He is a perfectionist and it shows in his work. He and his wife did six arched 84 inch windows for us and I could not be more pleased. I wish I could have him on retainer in order to restore this old house.

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I really enjoy what I do. I think the single most reason I became involved with Restoration and Historic preservation is because of the great need for people to care for these older buildings and my desire to do something different.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Restoration and repair is probably the least invasive and green way to improve your home. So many contractors today are lead by manufacturing industries and have everyone convinced that replacement is the best, and sometimes only option. While it's true that you can't save them all, too many times it's a flinch reaction that gets us in the never ending cycle of replacement. We have a different approach.
