I am a fully licensed and certified home child care provider located in Auburn, WA.

I am 30 years old and a mother of 2, so I already have plenty of experience with children. I have been in business for 3 years caring for children between the ages of new born and 6 years of age. I love what I do and I have fun!

Customer reviews

  • 5/5 stars

I did not end up working with Jennifer because of age issues, but wanted to thank her for being so prompt with responses! I found her to be professional, courteous, and will definitely consider her services when my daughter is old enough to be in her care.

Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. It is very stressful looking for someone who you can trust to care for your children. Always use your instincts when hiring someone to care for your child and NEVER hire someone who is not licensed by the state. Do not be afraid to ask for references if they are not offered.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Unfortunately there is no "one way" to care for a child, but consistency and a set schedule play a huge role in behavior. A true fact that a lot of parents seem unaware of. Nail both of those and you're in business.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. 1. Are you licensed?
2. How/when do you discipline the children?
3. How many years of experience do you have?

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. 1. From when to when will you need care (include commuting time and factor in traffic).
2. Whether or not you are looking for a preschool or daycare.
3. How much you are willing to pay monthly, weekly, daily, etc.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I teach and care from experience. I am a mother of two (one boy 2yrs and one girl 6 yrs). I care for only 8 kids at any given time. There is plenty of me to go around, so nobody is left out.
