Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. I highly recommend that you look at the photographer's work and meet personally with the photographer. It's important that you connnect with this person who is going to be with you on your special day. Also, ask what their back up plan is should they have a technical failure or if they are sick on the day of your event. It's sooo important to know!!
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. The inside secret of photography today is that so many people claim to be photographers, but there are very few who do really professional work. Look closely at a photographers work before you select them. It has nothing to do with how extensive their work is, it has everything to do with how beautiful their photos are. Also, the right technology really affects good work today and I can say I have the latest and greatest!
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. My work is truely professional level work. I use only professional camera equipment, I'm up to date on all the latest trends and all the latest technology to ensure that your photos are AMAZING!
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I truely love being a photographer because it allows me to meet so many really sweet people and to be a part of such special times in their lives. So whether it's a wedding, senior portraits or a birthday - it's a true honor to be chosen to preserve those memories for you!
Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?
A. I love to make people cry! Happy tears, that is! I know that I have really done my job when my clients look at my images and they cry because I have really brought the memory home to them.
Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?
A. I am constantly attending conference and workshops to stay on top of the latest technology and techniques. I also read trade journals to know whats the latest and greatest equipment available on the market. I really believe if you are going to charge people for your work, you have to offer nothing but the best!
Q. What is your greatest strength?
A. My greatest strength is my ability to connect with my clients on a personal level. When they become my client, they become a part of my circle of friends. I also have a knack for being able to capture the emotional moments and translate them through images. My clients tell me that over and over again. It's probably becaus I love what I do so much!
