FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was a DJ before I knew I was a DJ. My first unofficial gig was in 3rd grade - for the end of year party, I brought my kid record player and all five of my records. In high school, I would tag along with my friend who was a DJ at an AM radio station and to his gigs to assist. In the 90s, I aspired in karaoke, singing anytime anywhere. A few years back I ventured to be a karaoke host. It was while playing bumper music that I thought it would be fun to do more with it, like create mashups and learn to beat-match. Customers would ask if I would play for their parties and soon I started doing weddings and various parties. It became a natural fit and I've been going strong ever since. I currently average at least 30 weddings a year and 10+ corporate events per year.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most often, I'm hired to provide wedding ceremony and reception entertainment. Next are social events or karaoke parties and even providing dj services for local area bars. I'm a versatile dj that can provide many types of dj and karaoke entertainment.
