We offer non-traditional and classic portraiture, on location or in studio. Commercial services include fashion, architecture, and industry.
I have a passport and will travel. Located in Bellingham, I shoot digital format, as well as film, make that Hasselblad or large format 4 x 5 when called for.

A. Every photographer has a unique style. Tell me something about yourself, so that we can incorporate that element into a portrait. My goal is to provoke some emotional content, whether that result is obvious or simply implied.
A. Most professional photographers spend more time editing their work than shooting it. This process is called post-production. I use Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom as tools for the trade, but only as necessary to clean up the image, and do what I would do in a darkroom if it were film. This does not include major retouching. My approach is still photojournalistic in nature.
A. What should I wear to the shoot? Will you be using a background? I have a classic black velvet theatre curtain and a couple of canvas backdrops- they do not resemble in any way the sort of look you would get if you went to Walmart of Sears. If that is the look you want, please don't even start the conversation. I do not do that style. Look at my websites, that is what I do.
