I am Cheryl Renee Long, and I have a passion for watercolor.
My students make very fast progress and fall in love with painting in my fun, gentle, and interactive small classes.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Be sure to talk to the person. Would you get along well -can you learn from that person? Look at thier artwork. Do you like what you see? Especially look at the student reviews. That is hard to fake. The instructor may have won many awards but if they cannot teach, it doesnt help you.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. Teaching art is very individual. Not everyone is good at it, even if they are a good artist. The ability to communicate excitement for the medium is as important as the techical information conveyed.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. How large are your classes? HOw long have you been teaching? Where can I see your artwork? May I talk with you so I can make up my mind? Can I get my deposit back in case of emergency?
