I have been producing videos since 1995. I have a Sony HDV FX1 camera. I edit with Sony Vegas, and I have a wireless mic, green screen, and some lighting available. I specialize in event, music, business, and ministry videos.

    Dave has great technical and personal skills and is a joy to work with. He created a 5-minute video for us. He came to our house for several hours to interview us and create/edit the video. He has creative ideas about how to make a family video meaningful and impactful. He worked well with all of us (aged 6 to 42), and went above and beyond in the final project. He is reliable, respectful, follows through, is flexible, and technically skilled. I'd hire him for another project tomorrow!

    My wife and I had A Video Presence come on short notice to produce an informational video to help us raise support for an upcoming long term service trip. Dave McKnew was very professional and helped us define what we envisioned without limiting or controlling us. He was so patient with us and really helped set us at ease so we could be ourselves in front of the camera. We will look to Dave first anytime we need more video production work.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I am very creative when I am piecing together each video, with a knack for tailoring the video just right to suit the needs of my customer. I am also extremely quick when it comes to producing video's, without compromising the quality of the final product!

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. What I like most about my job is that it does not really feel like a job, I enjoy every minute of what I do!

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. While I was stationed aboard the U.S. Coast Guard cutter "Active" out of Port Angeles, WA. from 1990-1992, I was the ships photographer and had access to the video recorder. On one of my monthly patrols down to Central America I decided to make a "morale" video to be shown on the ships TV! Needless to say it was a hit and I knew then I had found my calling.

Shortly after I left the ship in 1993 I created a how to clean chimneys video entitled; "Chimney Care and Safety Tips" which was sold and distributed in libraries and to chimney sweeps all over the world.
