Shipping Department Northwest provides custom crating, packaging, and shipping services for furniture, artwork, antiques and electronics from Washington State to virtually anywhere in the world; even to Alaska!
We specialize in small moves, shipping furniture, computers, electronic equipment, artwork, and antique shipping.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. We provide custom packing and shipping of electronics, antiques, artwork and small loads of furniture and boxes. We pickup and prepare your small move for transport to Washington or any of the 50 states and provide residential, curbside delivery at the other end.
It is easier than a rental truck, cheaper than PODS and ideal for college students, apartment dwellers and military TDY assisgnment with DiTY approval.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I love meeting people and solving their pack and ship problems affordably. I have a very flexible schedule with what I do, so evenings and weekends are no problem.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. HOW LONG WILL THIS TAKE? Generally, from the time of pickup to the time of delivery, it takes 2 full weeks to anywhere in the continental USA. This is *much* faster than a van-line service.
WHY ARE YOU MORE AFFORDABLE? Van line movers have a minimum weight requirement that fluctuates between 1500# in the winter and 2100# in the summer. If you have less weight than that (ie: a bed, a dresser, a bike and 20 boxes), we have NO weight minimum and therefore can provide the service more affordably.
Our basic service also is driveway delivery, so we save you the money of hiring strangers to unpack your belongings in your new home.
IS IT INSURED? We provide valuation coverage of $1000 minimum on every shipment we pack and ship. If you require more value than that, it is available at additional cost.
