FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I feel like the cost of your DJ should reflect the cost of your event in general. Some of us have more to spend than others and for that reason, it is important to me to work with people on pricing. I do not charge by the hour. I don't think it's fair to clients who, in some cases spent over a year planning their event. The worst feeling is coming to the end of the night and everyone is dancing and having a great time (because they will if you hire me!) and then worrying about the DJ charging by the hour. Most events run between $400-$1000.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet in person at least once before the event and I am always available via text, email or phone.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I grew up in a musical family and was a 'giggin' kid in both the Bay Area of California and the Missoula, Montana music scene. I know what goes into a great show and my knowledge and collection of music from hip hop to jazz is extensive and broad. As a professional, I take my job very seriously, arriving on time and setting up lights and equipment as needed and showing respect and flexibility to you and your party. I hold two BA degrees, a GIS certificate and a Masters degree in History from EWU. Go Eagles!
