Brazilian waxing has become a modern day staple for grooming upkeep.

Brazilian waxing is used to remove excess hair from the bikini area and although it is traditionally associated with females, males can also have Brazilian waxing performed for them.

This procedure is also known as a Boyzilian. This popular type of waxing does not completely remove the hair from this part of your body, but does leave a stylish patch of hair in a style that is known as the G –Wax.

Although Brazilian waxing has been popular in many places such as Brazil for decades, it has only gained popularity recently here. However, once the secret was out about how good Brazilian waxing was, it soon became one of the most common makeover procedures that people have.

One of the biggest benefits of Brazilian waxing is that it allows for the qualified professional to stylize the remaining public hair left from this treatment in an attractive manner. Additionally, Brazilian waxing is a more popular form of hair removal than shaving, as it produces new soft and fine hair.

If you are looking to achieve that perfect look in your bikini area, you may find that Brazilian waxing is the makeover procedure to go with!

Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Birthdays, roller skating parties and corporate family picnics. I also volunteer for a church every year, at their Christmas party for foster children and their families.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. get references, Ask about the kind of paints they use. Ask if they get sick the day of the event do they have a back up?

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. I never knew how critical, knowledge of the paint that face painters use is so important. I too used the craft paint when I first started, schools use them, many people will use those products for an event. I just didn't know of the potential dangers. Many of those products have nickle for one....many people are allergic, or can develop an allergy. i also didn't know that the mfg of face paints, recommend that any child under the age of 2 should NOT have face painting. Children under the age of 2 years, doesn't have their immune system fully developed and can develop allergies later in life. I educate all moms and dads about this. Knowledge is everything. A professional face painter may be more expensive but they are knowledgeable and only provide safe products for these beautiful children.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. You must know how many guests are expected, how long it takes to paint a child. This way you wont have sticker shock by the end of the event.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. The face painting that the mama does, is more on the artistic side. The mama keeps her prices affordable because she was a single mom raising her kids with little financial help. She was never able to afford facepainting at her children s parties, She believes that ALL children deserve to enjoy the excitement of facepainting. Check out the designs for yourself.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I think that most every face painter will tell you that the BEST perk to this job is when you hand them the mirror, when you are done. It is so rewarding to watch their little eyes gaze over every minute part of the design, as they process what they are looking at....a big sparkle comes into their eyes, then a huge smile. We all notice that periodically they run back to grab the mirror just to make sure it is still there. It's like Christmas with every child.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. How do you remove the design? Simply use warm soapy water. There are some colors that have a richer pigment so a second washing may be indicated here.

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. Cherubs are so beautiful and funny, I have many but the one that sticks out in my mind the most was this little girl, wanted "Ariel" so bad, I had never done one before, but I tried. It took me a little longer to complete, when I was done, I notice that this special cherub was fast asleep. I just sat there and looked at her and realized that these babies love face painting so much that I am so blessed that I can enjoy the tender moments of face painting.

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. It is rare to meet a child that doesn't love face painting, When you involve yourself with something that your child loves so much it really makes a difference. Try getting a design on your face too and watch the reaction of your child....it doubles their excitement.

I think that a face painter is always a good choice for any entertainment for all children. It will be money best spent.

Don't forget about wedding receptions too....great place to entertain the kids.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. I am a hairdresser by trade. I do acrylic nails, have won nail art competitions. It was a few of my customers that suggested that I do face painting. My kids were little at the time and it seemed rather fun....The rest is history.

Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?

A. I think that glitter is a great topic here. The glitter that is designed for face painters is not made of metal, rather, is of a plastic that is very shiny. It is deemed safe by the F.D.A.

All of these products are most likely triple the cost of craft glitter but, safety is always the top priority of any event.
