Jennifer does AMAZING work!! From engagement photos to group wedding photos to ceremony and reception, our photographs are beautiful!! Jennifer captured the fun and the tender, which is difficult given we aren't prone to PDA. Looking at the pictures, I've never felt so beautiful and I have no idea how she was able to capture and enhance that feeling. Seeing the photographs makes me want to manufacture reasons for us to have other photo sessions with her. On top of that, her husband, who was her assistant was a miracle, according to my husband. He cam through in the tie and pocket square department. If you hire Jennifer for your special event, you will not regret it it!!!

It was really fun to work with Jenn as she covered our wedding this past summer. Jenn is truly an artist and a consummate professional, and was a knowledgeable advisor as we planned our wedding from afar. Jenn's work reflects genuine emotion from her unique perspective - she somehow captures the most memorable and moving photos. Jenn is also very responsive and straightforward in every interaction, which makes working with her a joy. Although the carefully curated questions she initially sent us piqued our interest, meeting Jenn, understanding how much pride she takes in her work, and seeing her interact and laugh with our beloved family and friends affirmed how lucky we are to have worked with her. The first time I met Jenn, I was a bridesmaid in a BEAUTIFUL wedding she shot. Jenn was SO professional - she somehow seemed to be the general contractor of the whole getting ready process by keeping the other vendors on time, while at the same time holding a sense of calm order and peace for the bride (and us!). When it came time to plan my own wedding, I was shocked to find out our venue and Jenn had overlapping dates. It was an obvious choice!What you should know about hiring Jenn: Shes a pro. She creates a timeline and works with your venue behind the scenes to make everything seamless. Shes a ninja. Dressed stylishly in black, Jenn weaves among your guests to capture shots you never knew she was there for. She captures moments you never knew happened that will become some of your favorite memories. Shes like one of your best friends. Shes funny, she gets along with your family, and shes TRULY celebrating your joy with you. Shes an artist. Her vision is unique; your photos wont look like stock wedding photos. Shell capture YOU and the feeling of your event. Shell capture EMOTIONS. (Like a speech from my step-son that brought me to tears or an emotional meeting with my aunt who traveled DESPITE cancer to be with me). I cannot recommend Jenn Tai highly enough! Of course, youll do your research and make sure that when you meet, she feels like the right fit for you. But trust me, you wont regret it! Wedding photography is a big investment, but the memories she captured from our day were worth EVERY SINGLE PENNY!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our wedding collections begin at $4,500 and average bookings range between $5,000 to $8,000, with WA sales tax. Our portrait collections begin at $450 and average bookings including digitals range from $1,200 to $2,500.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We love to meet our clients face-to-face as photography is quite personal and letting our clients see who we are, next to what we do, is critical to our success. Our office is in Kirkland, WA. Let us know if we can schedule a consult with you!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am self-trained in photography, with 12 years of journalism behind me. 2019 is our 12th year in business, and my 13th wedding season.
