Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. This relates to unlicensed and unregistered electricians.
I submitted an estimate to a potential customer. Her budget was really tight and she decided to hire a unqualified electrician. In short she called me back to fix the mess and pass an inspection. She learned the hard way by paying twice for her kitchen remodel.
Please be careful when hiring someone.

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. We are mandated to take 24 Hours of continuing education per license renewal.

Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?

A. To take classes to learn electrical theory.
On the job training is great, But to make an exceptional electrician you need a strong understanding of the things only taught in class.
