Jose is an artist! We wanted to build excellent concrete in our yard, and all I needed to do was to explain the path to him. He came up with a great design and gave us multiple options for the color, we agreed on the price and pattern, and that was it! After the concrete job, we decided to replace part of our fence, which was another fantastic job he did. Minimal damage to the yard and plants and excellent communication!

Jose & Son’s concrete performs top notch work! We had them out last summer to add a walkway and stairs on our side yard because trying to get down to our backyard was a nightmare. The concrete has added value to our space and has made it so much easier for us to get to our backyard. Jose is professional, timely, efficient, and does great work. He not only stands by his work but his pricing is fair too! The pictures I’ve attached doesn’t do their workmanship any justice as it looks so much better in person and I also waited to see how it would withstand the winter we had, as you can it’s still great! Everyone walking by in our neighborhood notices the walkway and stairs immediately and we are happy to refer Jose & Sons Concrete to our neighbors and friends!

Jose and team did an excellent job removing and replacing my driveway. Cost was reasonable, and the quality appears to be 10/10. They were on time, finished quickly, and made sure to clean up and remove all debris before leaving. Overall I am very happy with their work and would hire them again. 1 photo is the old driveway, then the cleaned out space, then their work. Looks great!

Did a good job. I voiced a couple concerns during and after the job, but they assured me I shouldn't worry. The 1-2 ft tall retaining wall was poured first, looks great. Had some rain for a week or so, and I told them I was fine with waiting until a clear day to proceed with the rest. The slab was poured on a cold afternoon just before we had freezing weather and light snow flurry, which made me a little nervous, but he was determined to get the pour done that day and said not to worry and the concrete would be fine overnight as long as a tarp covered the majority of the slab. They used an additive in the concrete to speed up the initial curing process. Overall, the end result looks good except for a few small (2-3 sq ft) areas where water collects and sits, but he said this was normal and I can fix it if I want by installing a french drain or applying gravel (though I'm not in a rush to go fix something I just had installed). Few minor annoyances toward the end but not a big enough deal to cause a scene or fight over price. Just little things: the nails used for framing were left along the fenceline; a tarp was accidentally buried under a ~6x8 ft section of the ground they had sloped to meet the concrete edge. I dug the tarp up and redid the slope myself; otherwise, nothing would have been able to grow through the tarp in that section. I'm left with a small pickup truck's amount of dirt near the slab that was used in the initial ground sloping but now unnecessary after removing their tarp and resloping (see photo). I reached out to see if he'd haul it away, but he'd have to rent another truck, and I'm not really in the mood to shell out more cash so I'll just move it myself. At the end of the day, it's a 12x16 slab and retaining wall that will be used for an outdoor shed, maybe a smoker. It looks fine. Cost about 6k, in line with other quotes.
