We were planning on refinishing the existing floors in a house built in 1947 ourselves. We called Creative Hardwood Flooring for an estimate for a patch in the floor that looked extremely difficult for do-it-yourselfers. Mario was available to give an estimate just hours after our first contact with him. He gave an estimate in writing, for the patch, and also for refinishing and patching the floor. His price was less than we expected and the floors would be done within one week! He began work right away and was really great at communicating what he was doing and when he would be working. He was pleasant and worked very cleanly. It was obvious that his experience had taught him tricks of the trade that we would never have been able to accomplish on our own. He suggested that we pay a little extra for him to do the baseboards and wrote up a change order right away. Even with the added work he still finished the job as scheduled. The floors look absolutely fantastic. I would recommend Creative Hardwood Flooring to my mother, my boss and my neighbors without any reservations!

You will not find a more knowledgeable, hardworking, great communicator with genuine business integrity than Mario at Creative Hardwood Flooring in Everett. He did an amazing job matching new hardwoods to our twenty year old Red Oak floors when we asked that he extend the hardwoods into our living room and dining rooms while at the same time refinish the old hardwood floors. The transition between the old and new floors is seamlessly beautiful, and the areas look like they were always meant to be this way. Mario was very detailed in his work and the finished product is one of excellent craftsmanship. ~Julie H

Mario left our floor looking absolutely fantastic. In fact it looks so good, that the kitchen doesn't even look the same, even though no other changes were made. Great work, on time, and at the bid cost. Fabulous work. Thanks Mario. Great communication, and we appreciate the advice he gave us for helping the floor properly cure long term, and how to clean it correctly. We'd use him again anytime!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Hire only companies that just specialize in unfinish hardwood, such as onsite refinishing, repairing and installing, because it takes many years to master this trade. For 20 years I have been working everyday with site finish projects.
