This project started 7/21/15 Driveway, porch stairs ect...Well here we are 9.28.15 ...no front porch, poured not finished, driveway poured not finished. Hay barrels under the front porch, big hole in the side of the front porch. Big hole where the planter should be..only its filled with concrete and wood scraps. Oh yeah this gets better now no one will call us back!!! So if you are looking for a very expensive way to get @$&% I would suggest this company.

My husband and I live in Seattle; we hired Slick Rock Services to take out a short fence in our backyard, bury a sump pump pipe, remove a curb, and install a concrete parking pad in our back yard. Mel and Shane were amazing! They were very thorough and conscientious in putting together an accurate quote for all of the work; they even came out to our property twice before we hired them to make sure the quote would be as accurate as possible! They were super friendly and very professional. The work was done pretty quickly (it was springtime so they had to work around the weather when it came to pouring the concrete) and we didn't have any surprises on our invoice in the end, we were charged what we were quoted. We had a great experience with them; our back yard and new parking pad look great!!

At first I would rate them a 5. They were timely, super professional during the estimate and eventually gave a good price for the job. They were flexible and worked within my budget. But the downsides- it took almost a full week for them to get an estimate to me. After that, there were a bunch of communication issues. They repeatedly asked me what finish/color I wanted for the concrete job after I'd already stated my preferences. They lost the original bid and requoted me a higher price. The contract they wanted me to sign wasn't sent correctly and when I asked for a new contract so that we could move forward, it took more than a week for them to get back to me. Ultimately, I decided not to go with them for the job. So, I don't know how they actually perform.
