Shelley was very easy to work with. She made sure I was happy with the way the pictures turned out. She listened to what we wanted and offered suggestions as well. She took a lot of pictures that I didn't know she would take and was so pleased when I saw the moments she captured. I asked for specific edits, which did not turn out as I'd hoped, but it was asking a lot. Overall, I am very pleased with the work and the price.

Shelley did a great job taking our family photos at the Bellevue Botanical gardens. I didn't want the actual photos. What I wanted was the .jpeg files so I could then order my own photos, Christmas cards etc. Shelley worked very patiently to sort out some file transfer issues and took 70+ photos with 20+ very good, usable proofs to work from. We highly recommend her.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Listen, listen, listen... Ask plenty of questions, take notes, and listen some more.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taken 110 and 35mm classes and darkroom photo processing. I progressed to digital and that is when my photos started selling. Took a class from a National Geographic photographer. I have also taken some classes online; wedding, infant, family, and senior portraits.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Taking photographs has been a hobby of mine since grade school. As the years gone by and more people became aware of my photos, people began to ask to buy framed picture. I had a display of 20+ framed photographs in a local business and they were all sold. It was because of those photos that I got requests for business head shots, family photos, wedding, etc.,
