Dragonfly Essence is the culmination of years of work and study, and a lifetime of walking and talking with Spirit. The thread that runs through all of my work is communication: healer and flower essence practitioner, teacher and writer, drummer and drum maker. I communicate with humans, animals, Nature, or Spirit, or frequently all of these.

I often bring in messages for my clients. Everything I am and do, I approach in co-creation with Nature and with Spirit. This is a safe and sacred connection, which provides information for healing of humans, plants, animals, businesses, relationships, the earth and any human endeavor.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Ask questions! You must be comfortable with a healer or animal communicator in order to really benefit. If a provider doesn't want to answer your questions, then find one who will. Ask how long they have been in business, ask how if they have had a similar case, and how they would set out to do their work.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Healers, teachers and animal communicators: every one is different. Some healers have a set way to do their work and others (like me) see what is needed and then decide how. Animal communicators have different ways they connect with an animal - often a picture, and sometimes just a name. And we can't always make everything come out the way you would like. We do our best.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. Tell your provider what is happening, and ask if the professional can help you with what you need. Ask how they work, and ask how flexible they are. Ask how much the monetary fee will be. Ask any question about which you are unsure. A true professional will do their best to answer you.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. For communicating with animals, it is important that the client has thought about what questions to ask their animal(s). For healing, know what you would like the outcome to be, though it may not be possible, it is important to aim for the best.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I use a number of different techniques: talking with the animal involved and also with the human. I also talk to angels, and they help me with my work. And, additionally, I make flower essences that help a lot for both humans and animals. I also talk to animals who are deceased. My dog friend Shama, who died years ago, helps me with dying animals.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I get to talk to animals regularly, and I have so much fun doing it. And I get to help people and their animals, which feels good to me. For example, I talked to a cat whose person was quite elderly. The cat had been too rough with her person. By talking, we got her to notice and be gentler. Animals and people who love them are wonderful clients!
