Dale and Carmen...
Wow- That was truly amazing! I can't imagine how that hour of time could have been improved in any way - it was fabulous! I am in awe of how quickly you stepped up to the task and accepted our request on such short notice- I didn't think it was possible but you miraculously pulled it off gracefully and professionally! You have such a great ability to teach in a quick, organized yet fun way. I heard many of the kids saying how much fun they had and that they didn't think it was possible to learn ballroom. I also heard some of the girls say how impressed they were with how quickly the guys learned how to take charge and lead.... That only came from your fabulous instruction- you made it so easy to learn and follow. Thank you again for your time and great effort that went into that hour - it by far exceeded all of our expectations!

We began lessons in January 2010 the first week that Carmen and Dale arrived in the Tri Cities to live. We continued to take lessons for several months and learned lots of dances from rumba and salsa to waltz and foxtrot. Because of age and mobility issues, Carmen and Dale have been very patient and understanding in tailoring the dances we learned to our capabilities. Both are very patient and understanding and will repeat steps until we learn them. They are excellent instructors and we highly recommend them. They've also become friends.

Learn to dance a broad range of dances for your own pleasure, not to be a pro. Carmen & Dale are caring kowledgable teachers, patient, fun, thorough, and very very organized, from whom it is easy to learn. We students can choose our own lessons, and one of the very special benefits is the Friday nite monthly dances where we can practice what we are learning. Fun for all, a broad range of ages and talents - and music. At a reasonable price. Join us!

My wife and I took lessons from Carmen and Dale years before they moved to Kennewick. We were sorry to see them go, Edmond's loss is Kennewick's gain. Of all the instructors we have had since, we still remember the steps Carmen and Dale taught us more that one's we've learned from any other instructors. They are a excellent value for learning some good solid instruction, especially if all you want to do is be a good, skilled social dancer.

My husband surprised me with a month of dance lessons for my birthday in January. We had so much fun that we are continuing with lessons and our brother and sister-in-law have now joined us. Lessons are quickly becoming a priority in our monthly budget. Daily (almost) practice is fun too. Carmen and Dale are wonderful, patient instructors. Always offering encouragement with a smile.

When I had decided to take ballroom lessons I really wasn't sure where to start. I had never taken any sort of dance lessons, so I was completely mindless to what I could accomplish. Thanks to Carmen's recommendation I started out with the foxtrot. I ended up learning 11 dances in one year. Both Carmen and Dale have wonderful patience, always positive, and most of all encouraging words of support. They are able to figure out the best possible way to teach you because not everyone learns the same. And since I didn't have a steady dance partner she was able to pair me up with a fellow dance student and it has been wonderful. I am so thrilled to have come in contact with them and learn something that I really (suprising enough) love doing.

Carmen and Dale are "miracle workers"! My husband and I started beginning dance classes with absolutely no experience and some fear that we might not be able to learn anything new at our age. At each class, the steps are simplified and we are gracefully coached through the patterns...and always at our learning pace. They also have a beautiful way of celebrating their student's success. The "miracle" part comes in with my husband looking forward to class and feeling comfortable on the dance floor! Carmen and Dale are a wonderful supportive couple that share a joy in wanting to teach others to love to dance.

We took dance lessons from others for a few months prior to Carmen&Dale. However, we have to say we did not learn very much because the lesson was not structured very well. We are now so happy with Carmen&Dale and have learned a lot from them and are now able to dance in public with confidence.

I highly recommend Carmen and Dale to get you started on dancing or to polish what skills you already have. They get you started right by stressing proper form, lead, and follow. They are also great fun as are their dances at the Shuffler Shanty.
