Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. In the summer, mostly exterior work and in the winter, mostly interior jobs. We have done anything from single family homes, to 3 story apartment buildings.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Make sure the provider you choose is licensed, bonded and insured. Make sure they paint two coats if you are changing colors. Make sure they remove downspouts, not paint around them. Ask what brand of paint they are using and what grade.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. Are you licensed, bonded and insured? What grade of paint do you use? How long have you been in the business? Do you have references? Do you have pictures of jobs you have done?

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. Very professional, very much a perfectionist and treat your home as we would treat our own.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. The satisfaction of hearing our customers rave about the work we do. Much of our work comes from referrals from prior customers. This is the best kind of work to have. It is nice to make people feel good in this economy.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. What kind of paint do you use? We most often use Sherwin Williams Super Paint. We also use Rodda. They also ask if we pressure wash first. Yes, most definately. Do we use one coat or two. We spray one coat, back brush and spray a second coat. Do you replace bad siding? Yes we do, and caulk and fill holes. We also take down all downspouts, not paint around them. We also take down outdoor light fixtures. When we are done paining, we replace downspouts, replace light fixtures, house numbers and totally leave your area clean. Do you guarantee your work. Yes we do for one year. If the client provides their own paint, there are some stipulations in the guarantee.

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. We are a family owned, mom and son team. Mom does the bookwork, paperwork, bids and billing. Son does all the painting. We are licensed, bonded and insured. We are a very professional team. On time to each and every job. We are very good communicators with our clients. Many of our jobs come from referrals from previous clients. We guarantee our work for 1 year. Happy to say thus far we have not had to go back within the year to do any re'dos. We go above and beyond to make sure our clients are happy with the work we do. We treat your home like we would our own. When the job is complete, we make sure there is no mess left behind.

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. Staining all the trim, doors, window casings and crown molding in a 4,000 sq foot home.
