The Snohomish Conservation District is a local government agency with a long history of providing the citizens of Snohomish County with free planning and engineering services for stormwater, wastewater, soil conservation, and agricultural issues.

If so, help is close at hand. An engineer or planner from the Snohomish Conservation District can make a visit to your property prepared to provide you with free planning, soil testing and engineering for your property. The Snohomish Conservation District has the resources to design a wide variety of on-site solutions and is looking for landowners in the Snohomish County and Camano Island areas to work with.
In addition to free planning and engineering services, Snohomish Conservation District has access to cost-share funds and can provide a portion of the final construction costs for projects that provide a water quality benefit to the local drainage basin (subject to district approval).
A. The Snohomish Conservation District has been one of the leading district for the state of washington for decades. We are one of the few district that offer engineering services to local residents and the $5 per parcel assessment tax ensures that all services the district provides are free.
A. I get to interact with local citizens that are concerned with environmental issues and are eager to do their part to help improve things. I also get to work on unique projects on the cutting edge of new technology to improve the function of residents property as well as provide a significant positive impact on Washington's natural resources.
