- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My rates are the same for everyone. That said, I have a soft spot for single seniors and young families with kids. I have seen many outrageously high bids in my 30 years in business. I refer to them as playing the lottery. They take advantage of one old lady a week to make there living. My rates are fair, reasonable and consistent.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I make contact with the customer, usually by phone or text. Set an appointment that will work for both of us. I am always on time unless I am effected by something out of control and I will call if I am held up. We go over the work being considered, I answer any questions, give advise if asked, in a way the customer can understand and I give a firm bid on the spot.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been in this business for over 30 years. If they gave out honorary arborist doctorates, I would get one.
