Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. Experience is everything when it comes to painting. The more experience you have the better! Learning all the painting techniques is an obvious benefit to our industry but that does not mean the average homeowner cannot pick up a brush and start on his own home. Before you do though, save yourself some mess and time, and speak with your local paint supplier to get all the best tips before you begin painting. Feel free to contact us too, we have a few workers who love to "talk" paint!

A. Are you needing a long lasting paint application that you can enjoy for years or do you need a quick coat of paint for a temporary need? This is your first decision to make before placing a call. Your answer will help to direct the estimator in the right direction, and from that decision he will continue to ask the appropriate questions need to give the most thorough estimate possible.

A. We like every aspect of our work! No matter what type of painting is needed we enjoy the process from start to finish~ No two jobs are alike and in over 30 years, I personally, cannot remember a boring day! Painting techniques have improved over the years and all of us at Preferred Painting look forward to applying the best and most helpful ones to each and every paint application. The learning never ends!
