I have been taking guitar lessons from Geoffrey Wilson for a couple months now. I have learned a lot from Geoffrey, we have studied scales, modes, and we have played many different styles including jazz and blues and some progressive rock rhyffs. I have also learned things about composing music and have applied it to writing music for the band I am currently playing guitar in. I recommend Geoffrey for music lessons because he has a large background in music and can teach more than one instrument or playing style.

I've known Geoffrey for about 12 years now, he is a good friend of mine. I would characterize Geoffrey as friendly, honest, highly intelligent, and very talented musically. Though I have not studied music with him, I know him to be an adept musician in many varying styles and on various instruments. He is a talented composer and producer as well.

I have studied classical guitar with Geofrey for about four months. He is very effectively helping me "start from scratch" again to correct mistakes in technique not identified by previous teachers. He is skillful at meeting students where we are at and coaching us with a combination of basics and more advanced techniques. He listens regarding directions I want to go (classical and flamenco) and is helping me get there. I also value his eclectic appreciation for Eastern and Western wisdom practices so he offers a body/mind/spirit orientation to guitar playing.

I've been working with Geoffrey for several years on a regular basis. As a guitar teacher, I have found Geoffrey to be a perfect match for me. He's taylor made a program that keeps me interested and challenged. He's highly skilled and has the ability to translate that knowledge in a way that is easy to understand. I've found him to be patient and encouraging. As an adult, I don't think I'd still be playing on a regular basis this many years later if Geoffrey wasn't there helping and encouraging me all along the way. I'd highly recommend Geoffrey and know you'll have a good experience.

I've been taking guitar lessons from Geoffrey for about two years. It has been a great experience as he shows a lot of patience and allows me to learn at my own pace. He is very knowledgeable and is able to teach me any song I bring in.
