KBM Northwest is the ONLY company I will trust to do work on my new house. Mike Kennedy is highly skilled, extremely reliable and professional. I have had Mike do several jobs around my house and he will be finishing/remodeling my basement in the next month. His attention to detail and work ethic are unmatched. He is experienced and a pleasure to work with. My house has many upgrades and is beautifully designed with top of the line carpentry and other details. Mike is very careful and treats my house as if it were his own, paying attention to every detail of his work from the smallest to the biggest jobs. I have had unreliable, more expensive and careless workers in the past. As I stated earlier I will never trust another company to do work on my home. KBM Northwest's pricing is very competitive and the quality of service and artistry is unsurpassed.
I recommend KBM Northwest's services to anyone, including my friends and family,
    Sincerely,
    Deborah Chance

I can not say enough great things about my experience with KBM Northwest. Their attention to detail was refreshing. Instead of looking to cut corners, as has been my experience with other contractors, KBM never had an "its good enough" attitude. They completed all my projects, big and small, beautifully. I also appreciated that their attitude was one of helpfulness and I never felt like any question I asked was an imposition. And the best part was that they actually showed up when they said they would, again not my experience with other contractors.

On time, hardworking, affordable, high quality work and a great attitude! I will definitely hire KBM again!!

"Handyman" Mike is awesome. I work for a very large restaurant in Seattle and it seems we always need something fixed whether it's a broken faucet, light bulb change, heat issue, paint chips, bathroom plumbing, you name it, he can fix it. I really like that I have someone I can always count on. I highly recommend Mike for your remodeling and handyman needs!

    Awesome! Awesome! Awesome!

Mike and his team took on my challenging basement that was only a slab of poorly laid concrete, no walls, a structural beam that was actually 12" too short and made it into a very liveable and awesome looking media room/man cave. I've worked in the industry for years and it was obvious to me that KBM Northwest had the know how and experience to do the job and do it right.

They're price was well within budget and he was up front and honest with every expense that was not accounted for at the beginning and informed use of the money we save because they over estimated on some of the material. We did the basement in two phased and both times we come in under budget by about $500 -$1000 and this was on top of a very reasonable and fair market valued bid.

They help greatly in the final layout of the room. They took into account what the room was going to be used for and made recommendations that we are grateful for now, that the room is in use.

We will be calling KBM Northwest back when we decide to do more remodeling around my house.

Mike was a pro on our house project (wall removal and installation of a beam). Completed the work on time and did exactly what was requested. A job well done, thanks Mike! Until next time, Casey

Mike Kennedy did a great job on some roof carpentry we needed before painting our house. He seems knowledgeable about materials.

KBM Northwest did an outstanding job installing new windows and frames in my home. This company does very professional work at a very reasonable price.
    Highly recommend this company.

KBM Northwest came to our house and put in new Crown Moulding, a tile backsplash, a porch remodel, and some other miscellanious finish work. I have never met a contractor that was actually more picky with MY HOUSE than I was. He would take the time to massage a piece of material that I was already 100% satisfied with and work it and work it and work it until it was absolutely perfect to him and he didn't charge me a dime for the difference. It was like he had to sign his name to it for generations to see. I've used countless contractors over the years, and I've never seen anything like it. If anyone can find a better contractor to do a better job at a better price then you have found a sasquatch riding a unicorn carrying a bouquet of four leaf clovers because in my experinece that contractor does not exist. Trust me. I've learned the hardway. KBM Northwest is the best.

Question and answer

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. As the owner/operator, I make sure that the work we do on every project is done as if it were being done to my own home. Remodeling is a form of art that I must ultimately leave behind with my name attached to it. I want to make sure that, first and foremost, the customer is totally satisfied, but also that I am satisfied with what I've accomplished for them.
"To give anything less than your best, is to sacrifice your gift" - Steve Prefontaine

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. Meeting new people and getting to be a part of helping fix their trouble areas and build their project goals.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. Can you work with my budget? (and the answer is always "yes!"). We can break your project up into smaller projects to allow for lower deposits and final invoices that will work better with your cash flow. Also, there will be no surprise costs. We are always within 10% of our estimate. (this discludes additions that the customer may want to include during the project and/or unforeseen issues with the unit)
