  Try get get these chores done each month
  These tasks get harder to remember because you don't do them all the time. A good way to remember is by putting them in your phone date book or personal calendar.
  
  Clean out the refrigerator Do this once a month on the same day that you do your kitchen spot cleaning and get it done with. Another monthly task is cleaning the front of your cabinets. You can add this in as well.
  
  Vacuum your couch Yes, This means lift up the cushions and clean it out. You never know what you will find. My couch cushions unzip so I take this time to wash them. My couch looks brand new every month.
  
  Clean your stove Another hateful job! Give the oven a cleanout and use scourers on the stovetop, Once a month will keep your stove respectable - and safe.

• We are now using the amazing Simplicity Freedom upright and canister vacuums. It is lightweight and picks up deep down dirt efficiently and can be used on stairs, and is reasonably priced. Way better than the brand Oreck, which was always breaking down. – Oct 30, 2010 at 4:28 pm
