Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. The best advice I have about hiring a pet sitter is to make sure to check references and meet with the sitter in person. If the sitter offers to just show up without first meet you or your pet, that is a red flag. Also, pet sitters should be bonded, insured and background checked if they are taking the profession seriously. Bonding and insurance are cheap, and there is no reason not to have it.
Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?
A. Information is key! We have a packet to fill out about the home and pets. However, when you first call in, have information about your pets, dates of service, a good time for a meeting, and a reliable contact number.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. We are a small team, not a one person operation or giant corporation. This gives us the flexibility to do what it takes to wow the customer every time! We all work closely together and that translates into focused attention on the customers needs and being able to meet their schedule. We are very professional and we have lots of fun doing it!
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. The pets! Walking in the door and having pet overjoyed to see you is a great feeling. After a few visits, the pet knows why your there and is overjoyed that you came to play and feed and walk them! You don't get that in every job.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. The most frequent question is "do you board animals?". No we don't, however, we do pet sitting in your home. We are normally cheaper than boarding and we check on your house at the same time! Its much more convenient than picking up and dropping off your pet, and we water plants, take in the mail and packages, and make sure everything is OK in the house.
