I do in-home or at-our-place computer repair service.

I have a computer science degree from USC, with 15 years of experience. I have also worked in Microsoft for 5 years. I will upgrade your computer to Windows 7, and save you half the cost of Windows 7 that best buy charges for the program. I am an office or Microsoft retailer, and can save you money not only on the installation but on the program, as well.

I will come to your house or business, with no trip charges like the others, to repair your computer, laptop or wireless network problems. No need to lug your computer down to a store where they have to ship it off to a different state to fix it, and in the mean time, you are without your computer, pictures, documents, and any other items you may need. 99% of the repairs can be done at your house the same day I show up. I can work on evenings and weekends.

It does take time to get things done. With every service call, no matter what it may be, if you think a Computer tech can run into your house for 20 minutes with no software or tools and fix everything that is wrong, then he isn't doing his job.

I run my programs that I have coded and made, with my Microsoft experience, that include a virus scan, spy ware scan and registry error software that your firewall or spyware program may not catch, and this will speed your computer up tremendously. I clean the inside of your desktop or laptop of any dust or debris, which will bring down the internal temperatures, and take away the risk of a fire.

I really believe in doing the job right and professionally the first time. I am not a college student or someone doing this part time. I own a local shop, and am not a fly-by-night business. I take pride in my work and customer service, and I provide 24/7 customer service over the phone for free, and I warranty my work for as long as you own the computer. I don't believe in 90 days or 120 days. My work is guaranteed for as long as you own the computer. It's that simple!

We are also a certified data recovery center. We can recover data from desktop PCs, laptops, thumb drives, external hard drives, and any other hard drives that you may have. We have great success with recovering data, your pictures, documents, and music.

We sell new laptops and custom built desktops for prices cheaper than any other store with a warranty that can't be beaten.

We also build custom desktop computers. The prices you pay for a new system at big box stores are often times more expensive then a custom built system that you get to help build, so it better fits your needs. Our custom built systems carry the same warranty as everything else we do; forever. We really want to stand behind our work, because no computer should last 2 years, and then you have to buy another one.

I do not charge a trip fee of any kind. I do not charge a diagnostic fee of any of kind. I would not want all of my pictures, music, documents, and any sensitive documents that far away from me with no guarantee that other shops will save them for you. They don't guarantee that your files will be on the hard drive. When it comes back, it's in the fine print.

I just think things should be different. I come to your house, fix your computer, answer all your questions, and give you a great warranty!

I also stock a full supply of computer parts: hard drives, desktop and laptops, memory, and RAM for both desktops and laptops, video cards, lots of fans including neon fans, cables and cords, IDE, SATA, power, WIFI routers, WIFI adapters, LAN cards, SATA PCI cards, and many other parts.

I can keep my parts cost lower than any store, because of my low overhead and my great wholesalers.

  I had a very, very bad virus that shut down my computer. I had not taken Shawn's previous advice about an external hard drive to back up all of my pictures and documents. I thought they where gone forever. Well, long story short, after a brief call with Shawn, he was coming over to my house within 2 hours and he not only saved ALL my data including my favorite list, he had the computer up and running in 1.5 hours!   I MUST have my computer as I'm a small business owner that is one the computer 16 hours a day. I can't live without my computer. In short, Shawn at Puget Sound Computer Repair built us a custom Desktop that was way beyond what I expected and since it was build which is going on 5 months it has had ZERO crashes and has been the fastest machine we have ever owned.
