FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is done by the hour. I charge a minimum of $150 in most cases for the first two hours. After that time is pro-rated by the minute. Any project that will last more than 8 hrs can be bid at a non-hourly rate. Materials are not included. I do not mark up materials, any that are bought will come with a receipt as proof of cost so you know you are being charged only for materials.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After quoting job pricing I will schedule time and date for work to be done with you, the client. One day before the work is scheduled I will call or message you to confirm. The day of our appointment I will call or text when I am en route to the project location. I will speak with you further before beginning work to clear up any lingering questions you have about the process. I am always mindful that I am in YOUR home, but I will treat it with all the care I show my own home.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taken many classes on the subjects of HVAC, Appliance repair, renovations, minor electrical, minor plumbing, and painting. My on the job experience spans 14 years and is of course my most valuable source of education
