We were having trouble with drainage in our dog run and on our lawn. Once we contacted Above & Below construction, they came out and recommended we install a french drain. After they installed it, not only did it fix our problem, but it also helped the neighbors drainage problem. And now our dog run doesn't get moldy anymore, and our patio does not flood.

I hired above and below construction to build a cobblestone walkway along the side of my house and it looks fantastic! It was a huge muddy mess and now I can't stop showing it off! I will highly recommend them to family and friends!

These guys did a complete remodel on my rental house, and did a wonderful job. They also take care of my rentals between tenants. They are very affordable and friendly.

Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Being licensed, bonded and insured is a must. Also, years of experience is very important so you'll know that the job will get done right. Don't forget about a guarantee!

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. To have a general idea of the scope of work that needs to be done. Research is a good thing. It's not a bad idea to check the costs of materials and to ask for an itemized statement.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. If they are licensed, bonded and insured. How much experience they have and if they offer a guarantee.
