Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Organize your questions, thoughts and desires down, so I can go over them with you and be prepared to provide the best possible service to your needs.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. The most important aspect of my service is: I put the client First and Listen to Their needs. When this happens, I can then tailor specific training, software and hardware solutions to fit budgets and projects..

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I get to teach, train and give back what I have learned for the past twenty plus years. It is a great pleasure to meet interesting people who want to learn and grow.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. Most often, basic questions are on "how to".
I listen and respond in kind with solutions that work for them and NOT my way.

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. The amount of continued education it takes to be "ON TOP" of this industry. It is constant process, and it does consume a vast amount of time, but it is also very rewarding. Knowledge is the key, to give that away to help others is a "Good Thing".

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. I have always been an analytical person and computers and software seem to be a perfect fit for me. It has been a rewarding service with me for twenty plus years.

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. I created a database for a client with a history of 22 years of Christmas card sending, receiving, gifts tracking. what a joy to have it automated with hundreds of family and friends to communicate with. Saving hours of time and making add on's in the future simple.

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. Yes, I am a registered Apple developer, and along with continued Apple certification classes on hardware and software keeps me well informed on the current state of "Apple". It is an ongoing process, one that is a weekly event.

Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?

A. The ipad has created a new way to work, live and interact with work and our daily life. This will change how we work in the future, instant portable communication on the spot. This will bring our creative process instantly to our clients and customers.

Q. If you have a complicated pricing system for your service, please give all the details here.

A. My services are very straightforward. A flat hourly rate, with no trip charges. $40.00 an hour on site and $25.00 an hour for a Shop Rate, with equipment drop off.
